A leading manufacturer within the construction sector is looking to appoint a Digitalisation & Design Advisor to join its established Technical team based in Bilston. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical background in construction and experience using Revit and AutoCAD, who is looking to play a key role in supporting both digital innovation and technical design delivery.
The Role
Working closely with the Digitalisation & Design Manager, you will provide technical and digital design support to internal commercial teams and external customers. The role will involve producing bespoke and standard construction details, supporting digitalisation projects, and helping to develop technical resources, drawing libraries, and digital tools that enhance the customer experience and technical offering.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing accurate technical drawings and construction details using Revit and AutoCAD
- Providing technical design support to customers and commercial teams
- Assisting with the development and maintenance of digital drawing libraries
- Supporting wider digitalisation initiatives across the technical department
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of technical processes and documentation
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality technical solutions
- Occasional travel to support business requirements
About You
We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a technical environment and has a genuine interest in digital innovation within construction.
Minimum 3 years’ experience within the commercial flooring sector or wider construction industry
Strong working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD
Good proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Ability to produce accurate technical drawings and construction details
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Full UK driving licence
