We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Professional Dog Walker / Dog Care Provider to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional care and exercise for dogs of various breeds and sizes, ensuring their safety, happiness, and well-being during walks and care sessions. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle physically demanding tasks with professionalism.
We are looking for a part-time and flexible dog walking assistant (occasional Thursdays and Fridays to begin with) to join our small team of three. Must be confident and experienced around dogs, physically capable to safely control and walk dogs. Must have own transport and be able to serve mainly Hamworthy & Upton Areas.
Experience- Previous experience in animal care or veterinary settings is advantageous; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong understanding of dog behaviour and body language.
- Excellent customer service skills to build trust with pet owners.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting of equipment or larger dogs.
- Passion for working with animals and a responsible attitude towards their safety and well-being.
