Key Responsibilities

  • Work alongside Educational Psychologists, SENDCo’s, school leaders, and staff.
  • Support the development of psychologically informed practice across our schools.
  • Strengthen inclusive provision, support early intervention and improve outcomes for children and young people.
  • Adhere to all school Safeguarding Policies and report concerns through the appropriate channels.

Qualifications & Experience

  • GCSE Grade 4/C or equivalent in English and Maths.
  • Degree in Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies, SEND, Social Sciences or a related field.
  • Experience working with children and young people is essential.
  • Understanding of child development and learning, and inclusion and barriers to learning.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusting relationships with children, families, colleagues and external professionals.
  • Caring, patient, and empathetic with a strong commitment to inclusion and supporting the personal growth of students.
