We have a vacancy for a Lunch Assistant and are looking for reliable and committed individuals to work within our existing teams. You will supervise individual and groups of children during lunch breaks, engaging them in appropriate activities, maintaining behaviour, and ensuring safety and welfare.
Contract: Permanent, 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday – Term Time only.
Salary Scale: HLT Scale 1a, point 3 (£24,796). Actual Salary: £5,560.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise children in dining and circulation areas during lunch breaks.
- Engage children in appropriate activities to maintain positive behaviour.
- Intervene promptly to ensure safety, well-being, and welfare of all children.
