We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant to join the team. As Maintenance Assistant you will be confident in all basic maintenance skills. Painting and decorating to a high standard is a big part of the job. You will need to have a keen eye for detail, be an effective communicator and possess excellent knowledge of Health & Safety regulations. Someone who is organised in their work and reacts quickly and effectively when required. Working as part of a team, you will be required to liaise directly with outsourced contractors and suppliers.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Daily walk of the building
- Report to Duty Manager / Maintenance Manager
- Room Checks
- General Maintenance work i.e. painting
- Attend morning & afternoon meetings
- Daily, Weekly, Monthly & Annual check on all products
Attributes / Experience
Essential
- Basic knowledge of Plumbing, Electrics and Painting and Decorating/ Carpentry
- Health & Safety Legislation
- Time Management and clean work ethics
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Adaptability / Problem Solving
Desirable
- Previous Hotel Experience
- Knowledge of Pool/Spa
- Knowledge of Legionella Testing
