Overview
We have a superb opportunity for a Sous Chef to join the team who is experienced in working in a high volume restaurant serving fresh quality food.
The Ship boosts a bright and stylish seafood-centric bar and restaurant, serving dishes that showcase regional flavours, local produce and seasonal ingredients. Hosting a 1* AA Rosette for culinary excellence.
The ideal candidate will have experience of pastry, have a minimum of two years’ experience of working at Junior Sous/Chef de Partie level and be capable of running the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence. Proficiency in achieving FCOS targets and familiarity with current food hygiene legislation including kitchen risk assessments is essential.
We are ideally looking for a full time chef, able to work shifts between the hours of 10am and 10pm on a rotation pattern with other members of the team. This is a contract for 42 weekly hours.
