About the Role: As a nurse in our General Nursing Community and Dementia Nursing Community, you will assess all aspects of clients’ care needs and provide health supervision and direct nursing care when required. This includes assessing the social and health care needs of new clients and maintaining ongoing assessment and review for all clients. You will also ensure that client care plans are completed and maintained in conjunction with clients, relatives and health care professionals, in line with NMC guidelines and company policy. Additionally, you will administer prescribed medicines and document their administration, practice maximum integrity in all dealings, supervise and instruct junior staff, attend mandatory training days or courses, and maintain good communication with the multidisciplinary team and relatives.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Relevant nursing qualification and registration with the NMC.
  • Experience of nursing care, preferably in dementia or general nursing communities.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to maintain and update care plans, administer medication and keep accurate records.
  • Integrity, professionalism and commitment to safeguarding and well-being of clients.
  • Willingness to attend mandatory training and to supervise junior staff members.
  • Enhanced DBS check against children and adults (to be obtained).
