About The Role
As Deputy Care Home Manager, you’ll play a vital role in leading the home and supporting the Home Manager to deliver outstanding, person-centred care. You’ll guide and inspire your team, ensuring residents receive the highest standards of dignity, respect, and clinical excellence. You’ll be hands‑on, visible, and proactive—creating a positive environment for residents, families, and staff alike.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support the day-to-day running of a busy nursing and residential care home
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing care team
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards and best practice
- Drive a culture of person‑centred care
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Contribute to continuous improvement and service excellence
About You
- Experience in a leadership role within a 60+ bed care home
- Strong background in dementia and general nursing care
- Confident knowledge of CQC regulations
- A natural leader who motivates and develops teams
- Passionate about delivering exceptional care
