Responsibilities

  • Support residents with personal care needs, including washing, dressing, feeding and toileting.
  • Assist with daily activities that promote health and wellbeing such as arts and crafts, drama, music, gardening, shopping trips and social occasions.
  • Help residents participate in sports and other recreational activities, including watching football matches.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship, ensuring every resident feels valued and understood.
  • Collaborate with the care team to document care plans and report any changes in residents’ condition.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive environment, reflecting Harbour Healthcare’s core values: humility, accountability, achievement, passion and integrity.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Entry level – suitable for individuals with little or no prior experience in care.
  • Enhanced DBS check (Children and Adults) – mandatory for all positions.
  • Willingness to learn and undergo training to obtain relevant health and social care qualifications.
