Part‑time Admin Assistant – Devonshire House & Lodge, Plymouth (PL6 7JW)

We are looking for a part‑time admin assistant to work at Devonshire House & Lodge in Plymouth. The role will be two shifts per week, 12 hours a week, on Tuesday and Thursday.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, contractors, welcoming them in person or over the phone.
  • Answer the telephone and take messages efficiently.
  • Organise and maintain filing systems, archiving documents when required.
  • Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks and monitor office expenses.
  • Order new office equipment, stationery, printer refills and staff uniforms.
  • Send out emails to staff, schedule office meetings, surveys and other communications.
  • Respond to questions and requests for information promptly.
  • Support training oversight and help the Manager ensure compliance.
  • Handle recruitment administration and other administrative tasks as needed by colleagues and managers.
