Purpose of Role:

IS Supplier Relationship Analyst is responsible for supporting the governance and performance management of IS suppliers, ensuring contractual compliance, effective change control, and delivery of measurable value to the business. This role ensures that engagements align with strategic objectives, deliver value, and comply with internal governance and external regulatory requirements.

Critical Responsibilities (MAE/MATTE/HSES):

Ensure all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and Harbour Energy HSES Procedures.

Ethics and Compliance Responsibilities:

Ensure that all activities and behaviours are carried out in accordance with Harbour Energy’s Ethics and Compliance Policies and Procedures, and to complete any compulsory compliance training as required.

Areas of Accountability, Responsibility and Competence:

  • Supplier Governance & Relationship Management: Act as the IS focal point for key suppliers, ensuring clear alignment on contractual obligations, service expectations, and delivery priorities. Drive preparation and delivery of structured governance forums, including monthly service reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), ensuring effective preparation, tracking of actions, and escalation of risks.
  • Contractual Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track supplier performance metrics and lead QBRs and service reviews to support continuous improvement and risk mitigation. Maintain accurate supplier data in ERP systems, including compliance. Produce supplier performance reporting for governance forums, including trend analysis, risk identification, and improvement actions. Translate operational and contractual data into clear insights to support decision-making and supplier performance management.
  • Contract Compliance and Change Control: Monitor supplier delivery against contractual commitments, including Service level agreements (SLAs), Key performance indicators (KPIs) and commercial terms. Support the management of change requests, contract amendments, and scope variations, ensuring appropriate governance, cost control, and documentation. Identify and escalation contract risks, non-compliance, and performance issues.
  • Business as Usual (BAU) Operational Support & Issue Resolution: Support IS operational teams in day-to-day supplier engagement, ensuring issues are managed effectively and in line with agreed processes. Act as the coordination point for supplier-related escalations and service issues. Support vendor audits and ensure documentation is complete and compliant.
  • Strategic Sourcing & Portfolio Management: Evaluate supplier portfolios to identify opportunities for innovation, cost saving, and improved service delivery. Collaborate with procurement to provide supplier performance insights to support sourcing decisions and align supplier capabilities with IS transformation goals.
  • Experience working in cross-functional IS teams and managing supplier relationships. Ability to interpret technical and commercial documentation and translate into actionable insights.
  • Experience in Vendor governance frameworks (ITIL, SIAM, or similar) preferably within IS or technology domains.
  • Familiar with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and supplier portals, Power BI and Scorecards
  • Experience of Contract structures, SLAs, and change control mechanisms
  • Ability to challenge suppliers and drive governance processes and performance outcomes with strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated Commercial awareness, not just operational. Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement
