Purpose of Role

  • Support delivery of digital and information management services for BU Mexico under the direction of the Digital & IM delivery supervisor and in alignment with local BU approved demands.
  • Reports operationally to the BU IS Manager via the Digital & IM delivery supervisor, with functional alignment to Corporate Data and Digital teams for standards, governance and platform direction.
  • Acts as local support for day-to-day delivery, providing hands-on reporting, analytics, automation and information management support that delivers measurable business outcomes aligned to Corporate IS standards, governance and approved platforms.
  • Delivers local digital and information management solutions in alignment with centrally defined platforms, standards and governance frameworks.

Critical Responsibilities (MAE/MATTE/HSES*)

  • Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and Harbour Energy HSES Procedures.

Ethics and Compliance Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all activities and behaviours are carried out in accordance with Harbour Energy’s Ethics and Compliance Policies and Procedures and to complete any compulsory compliance training as required.

Areas of Accountability, Responsibility and Competence

  • Support execution of business demand under direction from the Digital & IM delivery supervisor.
  • Assist in gathering, documenting and refining business requirements, working with business users to validate outputs.
  • Develop, configure and maintain reports, dashboards and automation solutions, supporting build, test and deployment activities as required.
  • Ensure all solutions align with Corporate IS architecture, standards, governance frameworks and security requirements.
  • Maintain documentation, support models and service processes for delivered solutions, supporting document lifecycle activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of digital and information management processes through delivery experience and identified local improvements.
  • Escalate issues, risks or non-compliance to the Digital & IM Delivery Supervisor or BU Senior IS Manager.
  • Support monitoring of service performance and user adoption, implementing improvements as directed.
  • Improve information quality by enhancing structure, accessibility, and consistency across structured and unstructured content.
  • Use approved corporate AI, automation and analytics tooling, including Copilot and Power Platform, to support delivery efficiency, insight generation and user experience in line with governance standards.
  • Operate under direction without owning demand prioritisation, solution architecture or platform selection.
  • Technical Skills
  • Hands-on capability with tools such as Power Apps, Power BI and approved Information Management tooling.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into practical, deliverable solutions.
  • Understanding of information lifecycle concepts (creation, storage, retention and disposal) within defined governance frameworks.
  • Awareness of AI-assisted delivery approaches and willingness to use approved AI tooling in line with corporate standards.
  • Non-Technical Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on data quality.
  • Ability to work within defined governance and standards.
  • Willingness to learn corporate platforms, tools, and processes.

  • Professional Experience
  • Proven practical experience delivering information, reporting, analytics, automation or digital solutions in a business-facing environment.
  • Experience supporting solution development and deployment.
  • Practical experience of information or document management in a business environment.
