Responsibilities
- Patrolling our district to ensure parking regulations are followed.
- Providing friendly, helpful advice to residents, businesses and visitors.
- Issuing Penalty Charge Notices where necessary using handheld technology.
- Helping to reduce congestion and improve air quality.
- Checking signage, lines and car park equipment and reporting any issues.
- Playing an important role in keeping the district safe and accessible.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Some basic technological skills would be an advantage, as this role requires the use of a handheld device to log and maintain accurate data.
- You don't need previous enforcement experience as full training is provided.
Working Conditions
- Your working week will include some Saturday, Sunday and early evening working on a rota basis, there will be an enhanced rate for working Sunday and there may be some opportunities for overtime.
- Your day will be spent, mostly outside, in all weathers, and there is a requirement to wear a uniform and necessary equipment when patrolling so please consider this before you apply.
- Applicants for the role will be subject to a standard DBS check.
