We are looking for a part-time, Monday & Tuesday (2 days/16 hours per week) Business Centre Support Assistant to provide front of house services at Harborough Innovation Centre.
Harborough Innovation Centre (HIC) provides support services to start-up and growing businesses in the Harborough district.
As the first point of contact for our residential businesses and visitors using our flexible workspaces, meeting and conference rooms, you will work as part of a friendly and dedicated team delivering first class, professional customer service.
Ensuring all enquiries are processed to the required performance standards and complying with the Council's policies & procedures are key responsibilities of this post.
Applicants should have previous experience in administrative and clerical roles and possess excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
Key responsibilities include providing a professional telephony and mail-handling service on behalf of businesses based at the Innovation Centre, coordinating meeting rooms and events, including hospitality arrangements, and providing support within our busy café when required.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for supporting marketing and business promotion activities using social media platforms.
Experience of financial administration, including the processing of purchase orders and invoice payments.
Candidates should be organised, flexible, and capable of managing a varied workload in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Flexibility will be required to cover holidays and sickness.
