Harbor is seeking a Senior Sourcing Consultant for the Vendor Management Office. This team is a highly talented and cross-functional group of professionals who provide unique and unparalleled solutions to our clients through the combination of data analytics, leading industry knowledge, and area expertise. The Senior Sourcing Manager will be responsible for key relationships and global areas of spend, in particular, technology, human resources, real estate, marketing and professional services. The role is expected to run and manage RFPs, markup contracts, negotiate with suppliers, manage internal stakeholders and work as part of a team. This is a full-time, professional position working hybrid in London, England (UK).

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and deliver cost savings and performance improvements through implementing global sourcing strategies.
  • Lead strategic procurement sourcing projects, end to end; with the following projects currently due to commence over the next 12 months: real estate, marketing and brand, finance transformation and client management.
  • Act as a procurement subject matter expert across their area/s.
  • Collaborate with the Procurement team and their stakeholders.
  • Negotiate commercial and contract terms with suppliers.
  • Support initiatives to ensure growing compliance and adherence to global procurement policies.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified to degree level, MCIPS or a recognised procurement qualification is desirable.
  • Experience identifying and delivering large cost savings and efficiency opportunities through developing global sourcing strategies.
  • Ability to work with and influence global internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to articulate complex projects and agreement to the highest level; experience leading large, complex global procurement projects.
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership teams and project committees.
  • A strong understanding of Procurement best practice, process and tools and its application to a comparable organization.
  • Excellent written, verbal skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong multitasking and organisational skills.
