Harbor is seeking a dynamic 3E Project Manager to join our legal technology and operations division. As the primary point of contact for client engagements, the 3E Project Manager ensures consistent client satisfaction through exemplary leadership and responsive service. This role oversees the implementation team to ensure effective task, risk, and time management, guaranteeing projects are completed on time, within budget, and in scope while delivering exceptional value. Responsible for the success of multiple concurrent projects, the Project Manager excels at collaborating with business and technology leaders to deliver solutions that help clients maximize their investment.

The Project Manager demonstrates strong negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced, client-facing environment. This is a full-time, fully remote position that can be based anywhere in the US, UK or Canada.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution
    • Lead and manage cross-functional project teams to ensure successful project delivery using 3E Project Management tools.
    • Collaborate with clients to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables while ensuring compliance with all project requirements.
    • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations and organizational goals.
    • Utilize 3E Project Management tools to track project progress, manage resources, and report on milestones to stakeholders.
    • Coordinate project documentation, including project charter, status reports, and meeting notes using 3E Project Management platform.
    • Monitor and manage projects risks, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues to ensure timely resolution.
    • Oversee the end-to-end execution of assigned projects by monitoring and updating work-in-progress and measuring requirement milestones against actual work-to-date.
  • Client Engagement and Communication
    • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and clear communication.
    • Manage client expectations and provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and outcomes.
    • Address client concerns and escalations promptly, ensuring satisfaction and alignment.
    • Project Communications – Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, promoting collaboration in a cross-functional environment to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Resource and Risk Management
    • Schedules assignments and tracks project tasks. Monitors progress and ensures the team adheres to deadlines, identifying and removing blockers as required.
    • Provide direction and support to project team members.
    • Identifies potential risks and obstacles that could impede project progress and develop strategies to manage them.
    • Addresses escalations in a timely and professional manner.
  • Budget Management
    • Responsible for keeping the project on budget. Provides customer billing, review of invoices and associated timecards, and addresses any client questions regarding invoicing.
    • Provides timely budget utilization updates to clients, ensuring work is performed within budget.
  • Scope Management
    • Ensure project delivers the scope as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW).
    • Ensure tasks or deliverables not explicitly defined in the original SOW follow strict Change Management guidelines.
    • Participates in requirements discussions and requirements gathering sessions. Ensures requirements are documented, approved, and compiled into client-facing and internal documents.

Education, Experience, and Other Requirements:

  • Project management experience implementing 3E/ law firm finance systems.
  • Four-year degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Proficient with collaboration and project tracking tools.
  • 3+ years of experience with the firm’s services, and/or clients is ideal or prior experience in the legal software industry.
  • Competent in the following areas: problem solving, customer-focus, communication, collaboration, organizational support, quality focus, and punctuality.
  • Authorized to work in country of residence without restriction or sponsorship.
