A fantastic opportunity for a Restaurant Team Leader to join our team at Harajuku Kitchen. You will earn £12.80 per hour, plus service charge

As a restaurant Team Leader, your main duties and responsibilities will be supporting our General Manager and leadership team to run Harajuku Kitchen Restaurant. You will support in the absence of the manager to run the restaurant and ensure that our guests are being provided truly exceptional service.

You will be involved with the development of talent within our team. You will be passionate about Japanese cuisine and love to lead by example. You will play a key role in our management team, motivating your team to shine and deliver unforgettable service.

Responsibilities

• Help to maintain a smooth, seamless service and the highest of standards consistently
• Create a warm and welcoming environment where guests feel comfortable and valued
• Guide and motivate the team
• Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and customer inquiries.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service flow.
• Maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene at all times.

• Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly.

• Qualifications

• Proven supervising or team management experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
• Previous experience in Japanese cuisine or hospitality is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
