The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
Work Schedule: Monday – Thursday 7.45am – 4pm, Friday 7.45am – 3.30pm. Weekends on rota.
Responsibilities:
- Direct line management including coaching, performance management, recruitment and other management duties.
- Schedule and coordinate proactively and in conjunction with other groups or departments the daily activities of the group and liaise with other groups, sections and departments.
- Organise necessary resources for conducting all relevant study or non‑study related tasks and participate in the study performance.
- Assure appropriate communication within the group, particularly for dissemination of information such as study progress, facility procedures, quality, health and safety, business updates and any other departmental or company communications.
- Understand and interpret study plans, identify problems arising from the study plan or during study conduct, and take appropriate action.
- Report all animal welfare concerns and become involved in the resolution and appropriate corrective action when necessary.
- Participate in meetings, inspections or client visits.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Home Office Personal Licence Holder.
Preferred Qualifications:
- IAT level 3.
Additional Job Standards:
- Previous experience working within a Laboratory Animal Facility.
- Previous leadership experience, ideally in a similar industry.
- Experience working with large animals is preferred.
