Role Overview
As Supervisor, you'll be responsible for overseeing the daily running of the soft play centre during your shift. You'll be a hands-on leader, ensuring exceptional customer service, staff coordination, and that health & safety standards are maintained. Key Responsibilities
- When necessary, act as the senior point of contact during your shift, taking full operational responsibility for the centre.
- Lead, motivate, and support team members, ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for all visitors and staff.
- Handle customer queries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
- Oversee daily checklists, rotas, and staff breaks to ensure smooth shift management.
- Assist with hosting parties, events, and group bookings.
- Carry out opening and closing procedures including cash handling and till reconciliation.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all health & safety, safeguarding, and hygiene regulations.
What We're Looking For
- Previous supervisory or management experience in a customer-facing or hospitality environment (experience in a soft play or leisure setting is a bonus).
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Friendly, approachable, and confident in leading a team.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure in a busy environment.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
