Location: Northern Ireland - flexible base with travel across NI (Delivery across Strabane, Omagh, Cookstown, Derry and surrounding areas)
Salary: £13.00 - £16.50 per hour, depending on experience. Equivalent to approximately £23,900 - £30,300 per annum, based on a 35.35-hour working week.
Contract Type: Full-time, permanent (part-time opportunities may also be considered). 35.35 hours per week for full-time roles (Monday-Thursday 8:45am-5:00pm, Friday 8:45am-4:00pm).

These opportunities will see successful candidates delivering training within professional, supportive and well-structured environments, working alongside experienced delivery teams and engaging with learners in classroom, workplace and blended learning settings. This is an excellent opportunity whether you are an experienced Tutor looking for a new challenge, or an industry professional with strong subject knowledge who is interested in transitioning into a tutoring or training role. Full support, development and funded qualifications may be available, depending on background and experience.
We are currently recruiting Tutors in the following subject areas:
- Essential Skills (English, Maths, IT)
- Retail
- Warehousing & Logistics
- IT Digital Skills
- Meat Processing
- Poultry Processing
- Joinery
- Team Leadership Management
Candidates with experience in one or more of the above areas are encouraged to apply. However, if you have general tutoring, training, coaching or supervisory experience and a genuine interest in delivering training within these sectors, we would still be keen to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, learner-centred training across your specialist subject area(s).
- Support learners to develop knowledge, skills and confidence for the workplace and progression.
- Deliver training through a mix of classroom-based, workplace-based and blended learning approaches.
- Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support development.
- Support learners with assessments, evidence gathering and progression requirements.
- Maintain accurate learner records, assessment documentation and progress reviews.
- Act as an academic and pastoral point of contact for learners.
- Work collaboratively with employers and internal teams to ensure high-quality delivery.
Person Specification / About You:
Essential:
- Occupational or subject-matter experience in one or more relevant discipline areas.
- Experience tutoring, training, coaching, mentoring or supervising others.
- Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate learners with varying levels of ability.
- GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
- Flexible approach with a willingness to travel across Northern Ireland.
Desirable (but not essential):
- Teaching, training or tutoring qualification.
- Assessor qualification (D33 / A1 / Level 3 CAVA or similar).
- Experience delivering apprenticeships, Essential Skills or vocational qualifications.
- Confident using digital systems for learner tracking and blended learning delivery.
