HappyCrown is a gaming commerce company that builds and operates marketplaces where players buy, sell and trade in-game items. Our main project BloxCart serves the Roblox community, and we are actively expanding into new game economies. We move fast, ship often, and organic traffic is a core growth channel for us.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and own the SEO strategy across all HappyCrown projects, starting with BloxCart
- Perform keyword research to identify high-value opportunities and guide content planning
- Work directly with content writers to plan, brief and optimise blog posts and landing pages for search
- Handle on-page optimisation including meta tags, headings, URL structure, internal linking and schema markup
- Build and manage link-building campaigns to grow domain authority
- Run technical SEO audits and work with developers to fix crawlability, indexing and site speed issues
- Monitor rankings, organic traffic and conversions using Google Search Console, Google Analytics and third-party tools
- Conduct competitor analysis to find gaps and opportunities we can act on
- Stay on top of algorithm updates and adjust strategy accordingly
- Track and report on SEO performance with clear, actionable insights
What we expect:
- At least 2 years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally in e-commerce, marketplaces or gaming
- Strong understanding of both on-page and off-page SEO best practices
- Proven experience with link building strategies that actually move the needle
- Comfortable working with tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console and Google Analytics
- Experience briefing and working with content writers to produce SEO-driven content
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and how technical changes impact search performance
- Self-directed working style, you don’t need someone checking in on you every day
- English level B2 or higher
You’ll stand out if you have:
- Experience with gaming SEO
- Background in gaming, digital goods or marketplace SEO
- Familiarity with programmatic SEO or scaling content across large product catalogs
- Experience with A/B testing landing pages for organic traffic
