Purchasing Officer We are working with an established client in Co.

Fermanagh to recruit an experienced and proactive Purchasing Officer to join their team.

This role will support day-to-day purchasing activities, supplier communication, and stock management while ensuring goods meet required quality standards.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining vendor assessments and reviewing supplier performance.

This is a permanent role office based.

The Purchasing Officer will be responsible for: Assisting with the daily purchasing of stock to support business operations.

Liaising with stores, accounts, and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.

Maintaining and reviewing the Vendor Assessment Scheme to ensure supplier quality standards are achieved.

Organising the return of goods that do not meet required specifications.

Completing daily administrative tasks, including weekly reports, data analysis, database updates, and stock order management.

Supporting additional duties and responsibilities as required by management.

What you will need to have for the Purchasing Officer role: 12 years previous experience in a purchasing role Strong commercial awareness with excellent negotiation skills.

Proficient IT skills and experience using purchasing software systems.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative.

Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
