Are you an experienced and detail-oriented finance professional looking for your next opportunity? We are working with a successful international business to recruit for a dynamic Management Accountant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. The job is permanent and based in Carrickfergus.

The Management Accountant will be responsible for:

  • Preparation of the monthly Management Accounts; P&L account, Balance Sheet, KPIs and reporting pack for Directors and the Group Finance Team.
  • Budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Supporting with year-end/audit.
  • Preparation and submission of the company's quarterly VAT return.
  • Control of the financial ledgers and accounting processes (ERP system is SAGE).
  • Analytical review of key financial ratios and revenue/expenditure patterns.
  • Key player in streamlining existing processes within finance.

What you need to have for the Management Accountant role:

  • Qualified accountant with professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA etc.).
  • Proven experience in a management accounting role or similar.
  • Good understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and influence others.
  • Strong Excel knowledge, including Pivots and look ups.
  • Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a wider team.
