We are working with an industry leader to recruit an experienced Learning and Development Manager to join the HR team in Co Cavan. This is a permanent role with an excellent salary, benefits package, and bonus structure. Hybrid working model 2 days WFH.
The L&D Manager will lead the organisations Learning & Development strategy, ensuring employees receive effective training and development aligned with business goals, compliance requirements, and organisational growth.
The Learning and Development Manager will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing annual learning and development strategies aligned with organisational goals.
- Partnering with senior leaders to identify skills gaps and capability needs across departments.
- Leading career development, succession planning, and leadership growth initiatives.
- Designing, delivering, and evaluating engaging training programmes in both face-to-face and digital formats.
- Managing the full training lifecycle, including needs analysis, delivery, and impact evaluation.
- Creating and maintaining structured learning pathways for new starters, managers, and technical teams.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory, and mandatory training requirements.
- Monitoring training completion rates, maintaining accurate records, and reporting compliance data to management.
- Developing and delivering management development, coaching, and upskilling programmes.
- Supporting managers with performance development plans and capability improvement processes.
- Overseeing Learning Management System (LMS) administration, ensuring accurate and up-to-date training records and content.
- Collaborating with HR, managers, SMEs, and external providers to coordinate training delivery and schedules.
- Managing external training vendor relationships and negotiating cost-effective learning solutions.
- Providing professional guidance on development planning and learning best practices.
- Measuring training effectiveness using KPIs, evaluation frameworks, and participant feedback.
- Continuously improving learning programmes, participant experience, and learning technologies.
