We are delighted to be working alongside a leading employer based in Lisburn to recruit for a HR Generalist to join their established HR Team. This is an exciting time to be joining a growing and successful organisation.
The HR Generalist will be responsible for:
- Providing expert HR advice and support to managers across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance, attendance, conduct, and change management.
- Leading and supporting end-to-end recruitment and selection activities, including developing role profiles, advertising, interviewing, making offers, preparing contracts, and liaising with external agencies.
- Supporting and managing employee relations casework, including conducting investigations, managing disciplinary and grievance processes, handling appeals, and supporting absence management, ensuring fair and legally compliant outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate employee records, HR systems, and employment documentation in line with GDPR, employment legislation, and organisational policies, and producing reports and insights as required.
- Contributing to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, people initiatives, and organisational projects.
- Promoting employee engagement, wellbeing, equality, diversity, inclusion, learning, and a culture of continuous improvement in line with organisational values and people strategy.
What you will need to have as a HR Generalist:
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role.
- CIPD Level 5 or studying towards it.
- Experience in recruitment and selection at all levels, employee relations issues and training and development activities and initiatives.
- A sound knowledge of current employment legislation and HR best practice.
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Commitment to undertake travel as required to fulfil the responsibilities of the role.
