We are working with a leading employer to recruit a Transport Coordinator to join their team. The successful candidate will support the day to day management and administration of the commercial vehicle fleet, ensuring routine servicing is scheduled and vehicle defects are repaired efficiently. This is a permanent job based in Co Tyrone.

The Transport Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Managing administration for a fleet of 160+ vans
  • Acting as the main point of contact for employees, providing excellent support via phone and email
  • Ensuring all vehicles remain compliant with tax, insurance, MOTs, and licence checks
  • Coordinating vehicle servicing, repairs, maintenance, and breakdown support
  • Processing insurance claims and managing company vehicle insurance records
  • Liaising with branch teams to ensure vehicles meet company standards
  • Monitoring driver compliance through regular driving licence checks
  • Producing fuel usage and out-of-hours vehicle reports
  • Providing driver support and guidance on company policies and vehicle use
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date fleet documentation and reports
  • Working collaboratively to prioritise workloads and support business operations

What you will need to have for the Transport Coordinator role:

  • Full UK driving licence holder.
  • Previous experience in administrative roles.
  • Proven reliability, flexibility, and adaptability.
  • Able to work independently and maintain accuracy under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and communication skills.
