We are working with a leading manufacturer to recruit for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to be part of their finance team. This is a permanent job based in Co Tyrone; either full time or part time (32 hours per week) will be considered for this role. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the organisation.
The Accounts Assistant/Book Keeper will be responsible for:
- Assisting with accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payment approvals and month end duties.
- Performing data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all financial records are up to date.
- Liaising with suppliers and internal teams on discrepancies.
- Ensuring accurate coding, data entry, and ERP supplier setup.
- Allocating costs, supporting job cost analysis, and processing Bills of Material.
- Assisting with stock, WIP, R&D claims, and general finance administration.
What you will need to have for the Accounts Assistant/Book Keeper role:
- Previous experience within an Accounts role.
- Experience of invoicing and credit control.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise work in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
