Overview

Production Planner.

We are recruiting on behalf of an established and growing food manufacturing business for a Production Planner.

This is a newly created role due to continued growth, offering the opportunity to work closely with the Production Manager to plan and schedule production, ensuring efficient and optimised manufacturing operations.

The job is permanent and based in Craigavon.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and scheduling production to maximise efficiency, minimise downtime, and maintain customer service levels.
  • Managing production forecasts, schedules, stock levels, and capacity planning using ERP/MRP systems.
  • Monitoring raw materials, BOMs, inventory, and goods out to ensure smooth production.
  • Analysing forecast versus sales data and producing reports to support planning decisions.
  • Liaising with production and other departments to coordinate daily operations.
  • Optimising production schedules, including allergen management and minimising changeovers.

Qualifications

  • Experience working in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience using ERP/MRP or computerised stock control systems.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
