Accountant (Part time)
We are excited to be recruiting for an Accountant based in Craigavon to join a successful organisation.
The role is permanent and part-time, 3 – 4 days per week, this role is ideal for a qualified accountant seeking a rewarding role with flexible hours.

The Accountant will be responsible for
- Monitoring business financial performance and supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts, including commentary and variance analysis.
- Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and latest best estimates/forecasts.
- Providing commercial analysis to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost reduction.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations and VAT requirements.
- Identifying and supporting business improvement initiatives and operational efficiency projects.
- Developing, implementing and maintaining financial policies and procedures.
- Liaising effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors as required.
What you need to have for the Accountant role
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a manufacturing environment would be desirable
- Proven experience in preparing and processing month-end management accounts.
- Confident and proactive team player with a hands‑on approach and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business.
- Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to analyse, interpret and challenge financial information.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail skills.
- Strong communication, presentation and IT skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment while effectively managing multiple priorities.
