Overview

We are seeking a Nursery Deputy Manager. You need to have a level 3 or above nursery practitioner qualification to apply alongside experience having worked as a deputy or room leader before. Please only apply if you are within a 40 minute commute distance.

Responsibilities

  1. Work closely with the manager to ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the manager’s care, resulting in the total avoidance of preventable accidents and promoting a feeling of security and satisfaction amongst all parents.
  2. Manage the staff at Nursery level to ensure morale is kept high within the nursery team.
  3. To manage stock control ensuring budgets are adhered to.
  4. Carry out the duties of the manager in his or her absence and use own initiative to carry out any other duties required for the smooth running of the nursery.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A level 3 qualified nursery practitioner (essential)
  • Senior/room leader/deputy experience (essential)
  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
  • Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
  • Nursery experience: 1 year (preferred)
  • Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
  • Management: 1 year (preferred)
  • Driving Licence (preferred)
