We are seeking a Deputy Manager and Room Leader. Please only apply if you have a minimum level 3 qualification in a UK recognised early years qualification as well as senior experience in a nursery.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Room Leader & Deputy Manager to join our friendly nursery team. You will support the Nursery Manager in the daily running of the nursery, while leading your own room to deliver outstanding care and early years education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire your team to deliver high-quality care and learning opportunities.
  • Support the Nursery Manager in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Oversee planning, observations, and assessments in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff.
  • Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
  • Step up in the absence of the Nursery Manager.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in an early years setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding practices.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in early years setting.
  • A positive, can-do attitude with a genuine love for working with children.
