This is an exciting position to join as a Baby Room Manager! You must have a level 3 childcare qualification and ideally have room leader experience or practitioner experience to apply. We are in search of a unique individual who, in addition to possessing a comprehensive and relevant early years qualification along with leadership experience, can contribute and share their enthusiasm, passion, and confidence as an early years professional to guide our dynamic room. As the Baby Room Manager, you will have a pivotal role in shaping the daily experiences of children, directing your team, and ensuring the provision of high-quality care and education in accordance with the EYFS.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Leading the planning and implementation of a high-quality, child-centered EYFS curriculum
- Creating and sustaining learning environments
- Establishing strong relationships as the room manager and key person, facilitating children’s development and collaborating closely with families
- Encouraging and motivating your team to ensure best practices and positive outcomes
- Leading calm and inclusive routines and transitions throughout the day
- Overseeing observations, assessments, and planning for next steps
- Managing risks and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment
- Facilitating team reflections and promoting continuous improvement
- Staying informed about best practices and supporting team development
- Assisting the management team with various management tasks such as opening and closing, administrative responsibilities, and third-in-charge duties as necessary
