Positive Futures, a leading Northern Ireland charity supporting people with learning disabilities, acquired brain injury and autism, is recruiting a Support Worker – Waking Nights for their Omagh site. The role provides high‑quality overnight support, enabling people to live independently, feel safe, comfortable and supported throughout the night.
You will work as part of a dedicated team, building positive professional relationships, delivering person‑centred support in line with each individual’s needs, preferences and goals. You will maintain a calm and secure environment, carry out relevant checks, respond to any support needs, provide reassurance and practical assistance, record accurate notes, use ICT systems, and ensure a smooth handover between night and day staff.
Positive Futures offers full‑time, part‑time and bank/relief contracts (up to 36‑hour weeks) and welcomes applications for a variety of working patterns.
Location: Omagh, Northern Ireland
What Positive Futures is Looking For: You should be kind, patient, supportive, and genuinely interested in helping others. Experience providing care or support, basic digital skills for recording notes and using rota, HR or care systems, and reliable transport access are required.
