This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and delivery-focused Project Manager to take ownership of multi-disciplinary projects from planning and mobilisation through to completion and handover.
You will work closely with senior management, operational teams, contractors, suppliers and key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget.
The role will involve project planning, programme management, risk control, contractor coordination and stakeholder management across a range of technically complex projects.
This opportunity could suit an experienced Project Manager, Contracts Manager, Construction Project Manager, Civil Engineering Project Manager, Infrastructure Project Manager or Delivery Manager.
Key Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include: Planning and managing projects from initial scope through to completion and handover.
Developing project programmes, schedules, budgets, resource plans and project documentation.
Coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, contractors, suppliers and technical specialists.
Monitoring project performance against programme, budget, scope and KPIs.
Managing project risks, change, variations and mitigation plans.
Supporting procurement, tendering and contractor management.
Overseeing site delivery and ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental requirements.
Managing client and stakeholder relationships and providing regular project updates.
Using project management tools such as Primavera, MS Project or similar systems.
Leading project closeout, handover and lessons-learned activities.
Person Specification / About You The ideal candidate will have: Proven project management experience within infrastructure, civil engineering, construction, utilities or a similar technical environment.
Experience managing multi-disciplinary projects from planning through to delivery.
Strong programme, budget, risk and contractor management skills.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
Experience with project management tools such as Primavera, MS Project or similar.
Good understanding of CDM, safety management and quality requirements.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to lead teams and drive delivery.
