About Live Here Love Here

Charity Jobs NI is delighted to be working in partnership with Live Here Love Here, formerly Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful, to recruit an organised, energetic and community-focused Community Engagement Coordinator.

Live Here Love Here is an independent environmental charity dedicated to connecting people with nature through education, engagement and empowerment. Its community programmes encourage people across Northern Ireland to care for their local environment through volunteering, clean‑ups, biodiversity initiatives and community‑led action.

The Role

The Community Engagement Coordinator will play a central role in planning, coordinating and delivering Live Here Love Here’s community engagement activity, ensuring programmes run effectively from initial development through to delivery, reporting and evaluation.

You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver an annual programme of engaging environmental activities while ensuring projects remain on time and within budget.

The role also includes coordinating Field Officers supporting programme delivery and line managing the Community Engagement Officer, making this an excellent opportunity for someone ready to combine hands‑on community engagement with increased responsibility for people and programme coordination.

This opportunity may particularly appeal to candidates currently working as a community engagement officer, programme coordinator, community development coordinator, environmental engagement officer, volunteer engagement coordinator, community programmes officer or project coordinator.
