Lead Unreal Engine Artist – Interior and Product Visualisation
About the Role
We’re looking for a talented and ambitious Lead Unreal Engine Artist to take ownership of key client accounts while contributing across a variety of exciting projects. This is a hands-on role at the heart of our CG team, where you’ll push the boundaries of what’s possible in real-time visualisation and set the creative and technical benchmark for others to follow.
You’ll deliver breathtaking interior, product, and environment renders in Unreal Engine, while also supporting and mentoring colleagues and helping to refine our workflows. You’ll be the go-to Unreal expert for your account, with the opportunity to influence other projects across the studio.
What You’ll Do
- Take ownership of Unreal Engine delivery for client accounts, from concept through to final delivery.
- Create stunning photorealistic stills, animations, and interactive content in Unreal Engine (Lumen, Path Tracer).
- Contribute to other projects across the studio, providing Unreal expertise where needed.
- Develop and maintain scalable lighting setups, material libraries, and asset workflows.
- Mentor junior artists on best practices and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with producers, developers, and retouchers to ensure final assets meet the highest standards.
- Troubleshoot technical challenges and propose workflow improvements.
- Contribute to R&D and explore emerging technologies like AI, automation, and virtual production.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years’ experience in high-end visualisation, CG, or real-time production.
- Expert knowledge of Unreal Engine, with a strong focus on photoreal offline rendering.
- Skilled in lighting, composition, and PBR material creation.
- Experience with Substance Painter/Designer and PBR workflows.
- Proficiency in at least one major DCC (3ds Max, Cinema 4D, Blender) plus an offline renderer (V-Ray, Corona, etc.).
- Ability to manage complex assets and deliver consistent, high-quality results.
- Strong problem-solving skills, proactive mindset, and excellent communication.
