We're looking for an Early Years Assistant committed to supporting children's growth and learning, to join the Happy Days team at our Playbox Nursery in Truro. As an Early Years Assistant you will play a vital role in helping us inspire the future for our children, by offering them the very best care and education, and supporting them in becoming strong, confident learners. Our Early Years Assistant will work 9 hours per week over 3 days, from 15:00 to 18:00.

  • Assist in providing exceptional early years education, supporting each child's development and learning journey.
  • Confidently implement and follow frameworks such as the EYFS to ensure high-quality teaching and care.
  • Meet the daily needs of every child with compassion, attentiveness, and professionalism.

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with colleagues, parents, and carers through open and effective communication.
  • Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding, health, and safety in every interaction and environment.
