As a member of our supply team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early experiences of children in our care. You will be responsible for providing a safe, supportive, and enriching environment that fosters children's development from birth to 5. If you're a qualified practitioner or have previous experience working in early years, your passion for childcare, creativity, and dedication will make you an essential part of our team.
A pivotal part of the role will be your ability to plan and implement exciting learning opportunities for children, whilst ensuring their interests and developmental stages are catered to, along with ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children in our care.
Happy Days strives to foster a real team ethos within our nurseries, so you will have the opportunity to work within a thriving busy team environment. You will therefore collaborate effectively to maintain a clean, safe, and organised nursery which has the children and families' best interests at heart.
Beyond the care of our children, our families are at the centre of everything we do, therefore our supply staff will communicate effectively with our families when necessary, creating professional relationships and keeping them consistently informed about their child's progress and wellbeing.
Who we're looking for:
- Our ideal supply staff will have an evident passion for making a difference within the sector, with experience within a nursery or other relevant education/early years environment being essential.
- A knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and how to implement this effectively (or a willingness to complete training to upskill) will be advantageous within the role, along with an ability to plan meaningful and educational activities for our children.
- Safeguarding our children is of the utmost importance at Happy Days, consequently you will show a strong commitment to the wellbeing and safeguarding of all children in your care and take steps to ensure this is upheld consistently.
- Experience with forming positive and professional relationships by communicating effectively with our children, parents, and families will be essential.
- While experience within a nursery setting and a level 2 or 3 qualification is highly advantageous, all candidates with experience working with children will be considered for this role.
What we can offer you:
- Competitive hourly wage of up to £13.00 dependent on qualifications.
- 50% Childcare Discount
- Up to 4 Days gifted Christmas Closedown
- Ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Supportive and inclusive work environment.
- Opportunities for career growth within the organisation.
