Salary: £13.00 - £15.50 per hour, exclusive of a 10% mobility allowance

Happy Days Nurseries is offering unique opportunities to be part of our Mobile Workforce - a dynamic team of Educators that will support our Boys & Girls settings in Watford, Croxley Green and Rickmansworth.

As a Mobile Early Years Professional, you’ll be a vital part of our team, dedicated to ensuring consistent, high-quality education within a safe and secure environment within our nurseries.

You’ll travel to settings within a one-hour commute from your home or base nursery, providing essential cover and support.

As an Early Years professional, you'll play a key role in creating inspiring learning experiences, championing children's development and working in partnership with families to provide the very best start in life.

You'll work closely with children, families, colleagues and external partners to deliver high-quality early education and care in line with the EYFS framework, while promoting children's wellbeing, safeguarding and inclusion.

This role also provides opportunities to develop specialist expertise in areas such as SEND, safeguarding, early language development, outdoor learning, behaviour and wellbeing, and coaching, training and quality improvement.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver high-quality early education and care in line with the EYFS framework
• Plan and facilitate engaging learning experiences that support children's individual development
• Observe, assess and document children's progress and achievements
• Build strong, professional relationships with families, colleagues and external partners
• Promote children's wellbeing, safeguarding and inclusion at all times
• Contribute to a culture of excellence, continuous improvement and professional practice

• Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
• Safeguarding
• Early Language Development
• Outdoor Learning
• Behaviour and Wellbeing
• Coaching, Training and Quality Improvement

Who we are looking for:

Are you an Early Years Professional who:

  • Has experience with child development and learning and is committed to children’s emotional and intellectual growth
  • Communicates confidently, professionally and works collaboratively
  • Works in a way that is inclusive and creates a supportive, respectful environment
  • Is reflective and committed to professional growth
  • Can easily commute between our three Truro nurseries; Penair, Playbox and Truro City

And a few nice-to-haves:

  • Paediatric First Aid certification.
  • Experience supporting children with additional needs.
  • Familiarity with digital learning journals or nursery software.
