Do you love cooking wholesome meals and want to make a meaningful impact on children’s lives? We are looking for a passionate Chef to join the Flexible Supply Team at our Happy Days Truro Nursery.

About the role

As our flexible supply Chef, you’ll be the heart of our kitchen, responsible for:

  • Planning and preparing daily meals and snacks using fresh, natural ingredients
  • Catering for allergies and dietary needs with care and creativity
  • Maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards
  • Managing kitchen stock and supplies efficiently
  • Creating a positive, calm mealtime experience for children and staff

About you

  • Experience in catering, ideally in a nursery or educational setting
  • A love for cooking and a genuine interest in children’s wellbeing
  • Organised, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Friendly, approachable, and a great team player
