About Happy Days

Happy Days is growing, and we're opening a second support hub in Swindon. This new location will help us support our nurseries and early years teams as we continue to expand.

We're looking for a Credit Control Officer to join our finance team where you'll be responsible for ensuring payments are accurately recorded, outstanding balances are followed up, and parent accounts are kept up to date. You'll work closely with the Revenue Manager, nursery teams, parents, and colleagues across finance to help maintain a smooth and efficient revenue process. If you're organised, detail-focused, and enjoy solving problems, we'd love to hear from you.

About You

  • You'll be organised, accurate and enjoy working with numbers and systems.
  • At least 2 years' experience in cash collection, credit control, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role.
  • Experience handling supplier queries and resolving complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Good Excel skills and experience working with finance systems and online banking platforms.
  • AAT L2 qualification OR equivalent experience is desirable but not necessary.
