Our Summercourt Nursery are seeking fun, enthusiastic and passionate practitioners to join our Flexible Supply Team!
What will you be doing:
- As a member of our supply team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early experiences of children in our care.
- You will be responsible for providing a safe, supportive, and enriching environment that fosters children’s development from birth-5.
- A pivotal part of the role will be your ability to plan and implement exciting learning opportunities for children, whilst ensuring their interests and developmental stages are catered to.
- You will collaborate effectively to maintain a clean, safe and organised nursery which has the children and families’ best interests at heart.
- You will communicate effectively with our families when necessary, creating professional relationships and keeping them consistently informed about their child’s progress and wellbeing.
Who we’re looking for:
- Our ideal supply staff will have an evident passion for making a difference within the sector, with experience within a nursery or other relevant education/early years environment being essential.
- A knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and how to implement this effectively (or a willingness to complete training to upskill) will be advantageous.
- An ability to plan meaningful and educational activities for our children.
- Experience with forming positive and professional relationships by communicating effectively with our children, parents and families will be essential.
- While experience within a nursery setting and a level 2 or 3 qualification is highly advantageous, all candidates with experience working with children will be considered for this role.
