We’re looking for a Business Administrator who’s committed to supporting children’s growth and learning, to join the Happy Days team at our Farnham nursery. Our Business Administrator will work 32 hours per week Monday to Friday, supporting the nursery’s occupancy, commercial performance and day-to-day operations.

About the role:

  • Manage applications for nursery education funding, ensuring accuracy and adherence to local authority and internal deadlines.
  • Provide administrative and operational support, including preparing documents, liaising with families, suppliers, and team members, and welcoming visitors.
  • Assist with achieving occupancy, gross profit, and budget targets through financial tasks such as expense tracking, payroll, banking, and credit control.
  • Maintain compliance with statutory requirements and company policies.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and efficient archiving in line with company procedures.

About you:

  • We’re looking for someone who is proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
  • Has strong administrative skills and experience in a fast‑paced setting.
  • Is commercially aware with excellent organisational skills.
