We are looking for an experienced and energetic Early Years Supervisor to join our team at our Droitwich Spa Nursery. Early Years Supervisors are at the forefront of shaping the educational journey of our children, using our unique and innovative curriculum “Where Children Shine” along with the EYFS requirements, to effectively observe, plan and assess each individual child.
About the role
- Lead a well-established team in delivering high-quality care and education whilst managing your own key group of children.
- Focus on promoting school readiness, ensuring your room team provide quality, safe and stimulating environments.
- Play a crucial role in supporting the effective running of the nursery through efficient organisation.
- Lead by example using your valuable experience to provide guidance, support and mentorship to team members.
- Work closely with the management team to provide the best professional development opportunities for your team.
- Communicate effectively with our families, creating professional relationships and keeping them consistently informed about their child’s progress and wellbeing.
Who we’re looking for
- A Level 3 qualification (preferably level 6) with a full and relevant Early Years Education or Childcare qualification.
- An evident drive for making a difference within early years practice and have relevant experience in supporting team members to make positive progress within their roles.
- Proven experience leading a quality nursery room environment, and be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of working with children.
- A track record of upholding established policies and procedures, ensuring the safeguarding and wellbeing of our children, and the health and safety of educational environments.
