A great opportunity has arisen for an Apprentice to join the team at Happy Days Nursery Derriford in Plymouth and undertake their Level 2 qualification in Early Years.
We are looking for someone who shares our enthusiasm for providing quality childcare:
• Do you have the enthusiasm and passion for working in childcare, whilst gaining a DfE recognised Early Years qualification?
• Are you looking for a role whereby you will be mentored and supported along the way?
• Would you like to be part of our team creating a safe and stimulating environment for our children, in line with the EYFS and Happy Days ethos?

Responsibilities
- Support children in a childcare setting and contribute to a safe and stimulating environment in line with the EYFS.
- Work as part of a team to deliver high standards of care and learning.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and engage with children in a friendly, professional manner.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Committed to entering a career in childcare and completing the required qualifications to achieve this.
- Able to interact with young children and have an understanding of child development.
- Confident to ask for help and guidance, listen to instruction and carry out requests related to all aspects of the nursery.
- Able to communicate with a wide range of people, including colleagues and parents.
- Willing to undergo a robust vetting process, including an enhanced DBS Check and Reference History Checks.
