We’re looking for a Deputy Manager with experience in child development, committed to supporting children’s growth and learning based at our Toddletown Godalming nursery. You will support our Nursery Manager in leading our highly qualified and experienced team, offering all colleagues support, guidance, progression and development.
About the role
As Early Years Deputy Manager you will play a vital role in helping us inspire the future for our children, by offering them the very best care and education using our unique curriculum “Where Children Shine”. You will also support your room-based colleagues by observing, mentoring and delivering best practice and regulatory compliance. You will gain valuable experience in the commercial running of the nursery, by supporting the Early Years Manager to manage parent enquiries, tours and enrolments, budget management, staff rostering, and recruitment, staff performance and wellbeing.
About you
- Holds a Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years/Childcare.
- Has proven leadership experience in an early-years setting.
- Demonstrates excellent knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding requirements.
- Is organised, approachable, and committed to delivering high-quality care.
- Has strong communication and people skills.
