Role / Responsibilities / Duties:
- Understand and have a good knowledge of the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage, the Early Years Inspection Toolkit, Ofsted and Local Authority requirements.
- Ensure that all statutory guidance is adhered to.
- Develop partnerships with parents/carers to increase involvement in their child's development.
- Lead and inspire a team of Early Years Educators.
- Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for children.
- Plan, implement and monitor age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursery through reflective practice and collaboration.

Essential Criteria:
- Minimum Level 3 Early Years Qualification.
- Experience in a nursery/pre-school setting, ideally in a senior or leadership role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework and statutory requirements.
