  • Respond to children's daily needs with compassion, attentiveness and professionalism.
  • Build positive, trusting relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues.
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety throughout the nursery.
  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment where every child can thrive.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide consistent, high-quality care.
  • Participate in team meetings, share ideas and contribute to continuous improvement.

You’ll ideally have:

  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality care and education.
  • An understanding of the EYFS framework or a willingness to develop your knowledge.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work professionally with colleagues and families.
  • An inclusive and respectful approach that recognises every child's individual needs.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • An awareness of safeguarding, health and safety and the importance of keeping children safe.
  • A reflective approach and a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
