Happy Chalet Nursery is looking for an experienced and passionate Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and experience working within a Montessori-inspired environment.
We are looking for someone who is confident, organised and able to take responsibility for their room while creating a warm and engaging learning environment for children.
Early Years Practitioner Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.
- Set up stimulating learning environments and activities.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Support children's learning, development and wellbeing.
- Observe, assess and record children's progress.
- Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, health and safety.
- Work effectively as part of a professional team.
Early Years Practitioner Requirements
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an Early Years setting.
- Good knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- Experience with or an understanding of the Montessori approach.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A positive, reliable and professional attitude.
- A genuine passion for working with young children
