The Product Intern role offers a fantastic opportunity to join a global manufacturing business at the heart of innovation to learn, grow, and be part of a collaborative team shaping products that make a difference. You will be involved in all aspects of product management from development to the launch, researching competitive landscape, reporting the voice of customer, supporting product testing and demos, as well as administrative tasks that will benefit the team and the processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain product benchmark comparisons using Microsoft and AI tools to accelerate the comparison process.
- Monitor and support the Product Management ticket system across Europe and the Middle East.
- Periodically review the datasheets and manuals for accuracy and compliance. Liaise with Korea HQ to update documentations. Updating sales guides, product roadmaps, comparison charts, feature/benefit documents and presentations.
- Assist Product Managers in testing first samples of new products. Test, identify and report software/hardware issues. Provide early product insights to technical support and sales teams to support pre-launch enablement.
- Support Quality Assurance (QA) evaluations for third-party applications and our own software. Test integrations for new product launches (e.g., Milestone, Genetec VMS). Help create tutorials/quick videos on features and how-tos for internal sales tools. Assist with product shoot-outs, set-up, programming, and on-site testing.
- Assist in competitor and market research using online research and internal datasets.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Recent graduate or a BTEC Level 3/Level 4 student in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, IT, Business, Electronics).
- Proficient in Excel (tables, formulas, clean formatting) and comfortable working with technical specifications.
- Strong attention to detail; organised; able to follow processes and close loops.
- Clear written and verbal communication; confident collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
- Interest in technology—cameras, software, AI—and a desire to learn.
- Basic electronics familiarity.
- Programming or scripting experience (e.g., MQTT, Python, simple application development).
- Experience with video production/editing for tutorials.
- Exposure to VMS/analytics platforms (e.g., Milestone, Genetec).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot/ChatGPT for research and productivity.
Location: This is an office-based role in Chertsey, Surrey offering easy access to M25 and M3 for commute, and is a 5 minutes’ walk from the local train station. We also offer contribution of lunch schemes served with Korean menu option. There is a possibility to work from home and occasional travel abroad.
